Friday Giveaway // Slice of Life Project

We will be emailing you details shortly. Thanks to all who entered!

Today's Epiphanie giveaway is courtesy of Seattle-based portrait, baby and family photographer Darrah Parker! Armed with her camera, she is in constant search for the joy in everyday Slices of Life, beauty in the over-looked and under-appreciated, and magic in simple moments.

In her 6 week e-course beginning Monday, April 2, you will dig beneath the surface of your everyday life to unearth the beauty that has been there all along. The Slice of Life approach to photography is embracing and honoring the imperfections in yourself, your loved ones, your messy kitchen, and cluttered shelves. It’s about saying that your life is just right the way it is.

Epiphanie is giving away a spot in this class to one very lucky person.
To enter, comment below and tell us where you find beauty in your everyday life. Contest ends Saturday, March 31 at 11:59pm CST. Winner will be chosen at random and announced on Sunday, April 1.

One last thing: today is the LAST DAY to take 10% OFF YOUR EPIPHANIE PURCHASE! Use promo code: SPRING12 at checkout. Applies to all bags! These promos don't come around often so DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE!

I find beauty in little things and in fleeting moments - when my 15 year old son asks for a hug, when my husband laughs like one of the kids, when my 6 year old is teaching his 4 year old brother to ride roller-skates, when my teen daughter bakes monkey bread and everybody is pulling a piece, when I look every morning out of my bedroom window at an old tree in the neighbor's yard... Ah, so many beautiful blessings!

I find beauty in the small simple ways that my family brightens my life. From my husband's hand on my mine, before I drag my tired body from bed each morning to the way my granddaughter peeks around the corner to see whose coming down the hall. A nice hot cup of coffee, the birds chirping, even the crack of the wood in the fireplace taking the chill off the room in the morning. All Beautiful things.
