You are the lucky Mom and Pop Photo School winner! Christy commented, "I have 2 beautiful, fun and energetic girls. I want to learn to take better pictures and focus on quality, not quantity. I'd rather have 5 really nice photos that really capture their spirit than 100 snapshots." We'll be in touch shortly, Christy.

Inspired by her love for all things shabby chic and thrifty, Hanna Alldrin of Alldrin Photography wanted to create a studio space that felt "comfortable and homey." So about a year ago, with help from her husband and friends, Alldrin Photography Studio became a reality.
Hanna's Alldrin Photography logo served as the studio color scheme inspiration of gray and lime green. She also chose gray because it works well as an alternate backdrop to white walls.
In an effort to stay on budget and true to the shabby chic inspiration, Hanna acquired all studio decorations and furniture from thrift stores, yard sales, consignment shops and salvage yards.
Hanna writes, "As time goes on I still shop for thrift prop items for my clients to use during sessions. I use DROP IT MODERN backdrops because they add some spice to my space and images."
More photos from Hanna's studio can be found here on her blog!
Do you have a unique photo studio or workspace? We'd love to feature it here on Have An Epiphanie! Send your photos and information about your space to email@example.com.
We're off to Chicago today with portrait photographer, Betty Elaine Simpson! Betty's husband recently took her there for a weekend trip, and Red Lola was her must-have accessory.
Betty's five favorite things to do in Chicago include:
One - Take pictures at Millennium Park. Just walk around and take the city in. You’ll find plenty of places for photos (including Union Station).
Two - Stay somewhere wonderful with a room on a high floor.
Three - After dinner, go have cocktails at the Signature Lounge atop the John Hancock. It is the best view of the city at night. Tip! The women's bathroom has the best view! Men have tried to go in there to look, ha.
Four - Shop! Magnificent Mile has some great stores...
Five - Visit the Art Institute of Chicago Museum and the Shedd Aquarium!
Thanks for sharing your photos and Chicago highlights with us, Betty! Looks like a fabulous trip!
